Ingredients:

1 pound lean ground beef (a little over’s ok!)
1 cup chopped onion
2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1/2 cup Buffalo Tom’s Gourmet Hot Sauce
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon oregano, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon basil, or to taste
1 garlic clove crushed, or to taste
1 green pepper, cut in chunks
1 pound spaghetti, cooked and drained
Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation:

In a Dutch oven, add ground beef and chopped onion cook, breaking up, until browned, drain off excess fat.
Add Buffalo Tom’s Gourmet Hot Sauce and simmer the meat adding the garlic, and mushrooms.
Give it a few minutes allowing the mushrooms to cook slightly and incorporating the flavor of the mixture into the meat.
Then add tomatoes, tomato paste, and remaining seasonings.
Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
Add green pepper chunks; simmer for 15 minutes longer.
Serve sauce over spaghetti and pass the Parmesan cheese.

Spaghetti Sauce serves 4 to 6
